Hi Claire`s Class

Gerry Briggs came to visit us today....

Green Flag Tour.
The Green School Committee are organising a Green Flag Celebration Tour for May 25th 2007 for V and VI Classes.
We hope to view and attend a lecture at the new Marine Institute Building at Oranmore Maree, followed by Swimming and other P.E. activities.

Our New School Extension

The twin wing and light grey area to the back and to the side gable form a computer image of the new extension to our school.

We hope to keep Waste Reduction, Energy Consumption and Water Conservation in mind, during the building and after our new extension is built.

Anti virus

To-day we visited First & Second classes to download AVG7.5 Free Anti Virus with Miss Conroy.
We found it on www.free.grisoft.com and downloaded the files for P C.
We installed the icon on the desktop and found updates. Then we did a search for threats and thankfully found none.

On Tuesday February 5th 2007 the Chairman and Secretary of Cappatagle Greenschool Committee travelled to the Galway Bay Hotel in Salthill, to receive the Green Flag for Energy, from the County Mayor Mr Michael Mullins and representatives from An Taisce and Galway Co Council.
